
State Growth participate in the State Service Employee Survey conducted on behalf of all agencies by the State Service Management Office. Surveys were held in 2015, 2016, 2018, 2020 and March 2023.

Overview of the 2023 State Service Employee Survey
In March 2023 there was the opportunity to ‘have your say’ across a number of areas, including Workplace Behaviour and Conditions, Workplace Diversity and Agency Engagement. We had a strong participation in the survey with a 57 per cent response rate
The results show comparisons with the Tasmanian State Service and also the 2020 Survey. It is important to note that the 2023 survey was much shorter and the themes were slightly different from the Survey undertaken in 2020 and 2018. 2020 also saw the survey impacted by Covid and since then there has been plenty of change in how we embrace flexible work and the ongoing priority of the health and wellbeing of our people.
