The Department of State Growth has a fleet of Government vehicles, known as pool vehicles or G-plate vehicles, available to all staff to undertake work related travel within Tasmania. To help us manage the use of these vehicles we use an online vehicle management system that is available to all staff.
The department also has a number of private plated vehicles that form part of contractual agreements. Some of these cars, those relating to the Engineers’ Agreement identified by their RTD number plates, are available for day use and can be booked on the vehicle management system.
