Tasmanian Development Board
The Tasmanian Development Board supports the industry development activities of the department. The board's primary focus is the creation of investment and associated employment through supporting the implementation of government policies. The board has specific areas of responsibility under the Tasmanian Development Act 1983 and has governance of the legal entity Tasmania Development and Resources (TDR). The board provides independent advice to the Minister on matters relating to this portfolio and its associated responsibilities.
