Most kitchens within State Growth have been fitted out with professional Nespresso coffee machines to enable staff to have coffee shop quality coffee in the workplace. These machines use a ‘pod’ system that allow staff the flexibility to purchase a coffee of their choice from the Nespresso professional range. Find out more about these machines:

Ordering coffee pods

Coffee pods can be ordered directly from Nespresso Professional through their website at www.nespresso.com/pro, using the State Growth account.

When ordering it is important to note that:

  • coffee pods are ordered at your own expense;
  • please ensure you select your delivery address during the ordering process otherwise your order may not make it to you; and
  • Nespresso offer free delivery on orders of 300 or more capsules, so you may want to consider pooling orders with your fellow colleagues. All other orders will incur a $6 delivery fee.

Nespresso recycle boxes

Nespresso is committed to sustainability and as a result, use aluminium pods as they can be recycled. Nespresso provide the department with pod recycling boxes to enable us to recycle each coffee pod. These boxes are available in kitchens across the state and we encourage you to use them.

We do ask that when the boxes are filled up to just below the handles that you contact Facilities to arrange for them to be sent to Nespresso.

De-scaling

The coffee machines will ask for a descaling after approximately 1800 cups. Descaling kits have been placed in each kitchen along with instructions on how this can be undertaken. If the machine needs descaling find the kit and start descaling.

Reporting issues with a Nespresso machine

If you identify an issue with a Nespresso coffee machine we ask that in the first instance you contact Nespresso directly on 1800 182 206 using account number 2197352. If the problem cannot be rectified, please contact Facilities.
