
This policy applies to employees seeking to enhance their professional skills and knowledge relevant to their current work and career pathway through study towards a nationally recognised qualification at Certificate IV level and above. It does not apply to courses below Certificate IV or general professional and personal capability development such as non-award short courses, internal courses, external conferences, seminars and workshops. These are generally part of ongoing training, education and development and are considered in line with your business area's local approval processes.

Study assistance can be in the form of paid leave to undertake course work and/or reimbursement of up to 50% of course fees and charges.
